Landscape Maintenance Foreman

##### Position Description

Spillane’s Nursery & Landscape, Inc. is seeking experienced Landscape Maintenance Foreman to assist us in maintaining the landscapes of our clients. This is a full-time seasonal position with opportunities to participate in providing snow and ice management services during the winter.

Must have the ability to perform, and experience with, the following job functions

• Supervise and work with multiple crews daily
• Lead and assist with regular weekly mowing visits, mulching, pruning, and spring/fall cleanups
• Maintain high standard of quality while maintaining safe work habits
• Residential and Commercial snow and ice responsibilities

Maintenance experience, such as mowing, trimming, tree and shrub care, fertilization and seasonal cleanups

String-line trimmers

Back pack blowers

Zero-turn commercial lawn mowers

Ability to stand and/or sit for long periods of time

Ability to effectively communicate the project objectives to your production team

##### Position Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in landscape maintenance
• Valid drivers’ license and clean driving record
• DOT medical card
• Ability to drive truck/trailer unit safely
• Ability to work necessary hours to complete assigned work
• Dependable, punctual, team oriented
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Background check and pre-employment drug test required
