Landscape Maintenance and Yard Cleanup Technician

J&C Lawn Care – Portland, OR

We’re looking for a reliable, hardworking crew member to join our team. This role focuses on lawn maintenance and yard cleanups. If you take pride in your work and want steady hours with a growing company, this is a good fit.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lawn mowing, edging, and blowing
• Pulling weeds and applying weed control
• Trimming shrubs, bushes, and small trees
• Leaf cleanup and debris removal
• Cutting back overgrown areas (blackberries, ivy, etc.)
• General yard cleanups and property maintenance

What We’re Looking For

• Shows up on time and ready to work
• Good work ethic (not slow, not rushing—steady pace)
• Pays attention to detail
• Can follow instructions and work with a team
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather
• Valid driver’s license preferred

Requirements

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs
• Able to work 8–10 hour days
• Experience is a plus, but we can train the right person

Pay

• Starting at $21+/hour DOE
• Opportunity for raises based on performance

Schedule

• Monday – Thursday (10-hour days)
• Consistent weekly schedule
