Are you an experienced Landscape Foreman seeking a new challenge? We are a fast growing company and are looking for a dedicated professional to join our team and lead a crew in creating and maintaining exceptional outdoor spaces with a focus on California native plants. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing landscape projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest possible standards.

As the Landscape Foreman, you will coordinate and direct the activities of workers on-site, manage resources, and ensure the safety and success of each project. Your expertise in landscape techniques and strong leadership skills will be crucial in delivering outstanding results that meet our clients’ expectations. Landscape Foreman Duties & Responsibilities

• Confer with operations manager to coordinate work schedule and daily activities
• Inspect landscaping to assess treatment needs
• Establish work standards
• Direct activities of laborers and subcontractors
• Must have knowledge in installation of pavers, retaining walls, sod, irrigation, and other landscape materials
• Knowledge of bobcat operations, hand tools, power tools, cleanup
• Provide workers with assistance in performing duties as necessary to meet deadlines
• Inspect work to ensure standards are met
• Complete inventory checks and insure that the proper equipment is on site for necessary job duties
• Document work hours or activities
• Fill out work reports at the end of each work day
• Train new crew members

Landscape Foreman Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years experience in a landscaping or groundskeeping position
• Must be able to safely operate maintenance equipment and heavy machinery
