Landscape Foreman

Job Summary

Duties

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of landscaping crews on construction projects, including planting, lawn care,, and maintenance.
• Manage team assignments, monitor work progress, and ensure safety protocols are followed at all times.
• Oversee landscape maintenance tasks such as pruning, mowing, fertilizing, and pest control to keep outdoor spaces vibrant and healthy.
• Identify various plants, trees, and shrubs to ensure proper care and placement within projects.
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure work meets company standards, client specifications, and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with clients, suppliers, and other contractors to facilitate smooth project execution from start to finish.

Requirements

• Proven experience supervising landscaping or horticultural teams on large-scale projects.
• Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques including lawn care, pruning, planting, and pest management.
• Ability to identify a wide variety of plants, trees, and shrubs confidently.
• Experience managing irrigation systems and understanding their operation is highly desirable.
• Construction experience related to outdoor projects is a plus.
