Landscape Enhancement Driver and Laborer

Position Overview

The Enhancement Landscape Driver and Laborer at LandCom Landscaping is responsible for assisting in the installation of landscape and irrigation projects. This includes planting, tree and granite installation, as well as irrigation system conversions. The role requires hands-on work with tools and equipment to support the successful completion of various enhancement projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform landscape and irrigation duties using hand and power tools.
• Safely drive crews to and from jobs, adhering to the Company's Safety Policy and ensuring that the public will be safe while in contact with crews.
• Execute irrigation layout and installation as per project specifications.
• Follow irrigation and landscape plans accurately.
• Complete assignments as directed by the Site Supervisor or Crew Leader.
• Operate all related tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain all assigned tools and equipment in clean, working condition.
• Report equipment or tool needs to the Site Supervisor in advance.
• Assist with trenching, digging, and manual labor using appropriate tools.
• Ensure quality standards are met for both the company and the client.
• Identify and communicate potential landscape improvements to the Crew Leader.
• Keep job sites clean and organized.
• Demonstrate efficient task execution and forward-thinking.
• Attend required safety meetings and comply with all safety guidelines.
• Work independently when needed and communicate effectively in basic English or Spanish.
• Wear PPE at all times and follow all safety protocols.
• Plant trees, shrubs, and other vegetation as instructed.

Qualifications

• Minimum one (1) year of experience in landscape construction, irrigation installation, and drainage work.
• Proficient in operating landscape-related equipment.
• Knowledgeable in irrigation installation techniques.
