Landscape design service technician

Overview

We are looking for a dependable, self-motivated Landscape Warranty & Service Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for handling all warranty-related service calls, completing repairs from previously installed landscape projects, and assisting our installation crews when needed.

The ideal candidate has experience in landscape installation, irrigation, drainage, plant identification, and enjoys working independently while providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Complete all warranty service calls for completed landscape projects.
• Replace warranted plants, trees, shrubs, sod, and other landscape materials.
• Diagnose and repair irrigation systems, including adjusting sprinkler heads, valves, controllers, and drip irrigation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve drainage issues as they arise.
• Perform landscape touch-ups and repairs to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Communicate professionally with homeowners and customers during service visits.
• Document completed work and report any additional issues that require attention.
• Assist landscape installation crews as a working crew member when service calls are light or additional manpower is needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work vehicle and job sites.
• Safely transport tools, materials, and equipment to job sites.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Reliable personal vehicle capable of traveling to job sites throughout the service area (mileage reimbursement provided if applicable).
• Previous experience in landscape installation and maintenance.
• Knowledge of irrigation systems and drainage solutions.
• Ability to identify common landscape plants and diagnose plant health issues.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
