JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The Landscaping Crew Leader is responsible for overseeing a crew of landscape maintenance employees to ensure all landscape projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to company quality standards. This role combines hands-on fieldwork with leadership responsibilities.

Leadership & Team Management

Lead, motivate, and train crew members to perform at a high standard. Delegate daily tasks and ensure team members understand their roles and expectations. Conduct quality checks throughout the day to ensure work meets company standards. Promote a positive, respectful, and inclusive team environment. Provide real-time feedback and coaching to improve performance and safety.

Project Execution

Oversee and participate in mowing, trimming, edging, pruning, mulching, planting, and seasonal cleanup tasks. Interpret and execute work orders, job maps, and client instructions accurately. Ensure job completion meets deadlines and budgeted labor hours. Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding job progress, challenges, or client requests.
