Position Summary

The Construction Project Manager oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of landscape design-build projects from contract award through completion. This position ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards while maintaining strong communication with clients, vendors, and internal teams. The Project Manager serves as the central point of contact for all project-related matters and is accountable for successful project outcomes and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management & Execution

  • Manage all aspects of assigned Design Build projects, including scheduling, procurement, subcontractor coordination, and field execution.
  • Review project plans, designs, and estimates during handoff to confirm scope, materials, and deliverables.
  • Prepare and maintain project schedules, ensuring key milestones are met.
  • Track labor, materials, and equipment usage against budgets and report variances to the Operations Manager.
  • Ensure all work meets or exceeds company standards for quality and craftsmanship.

Client & Communication Management

  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct pre-construction meetings to align expectations, review scope, and establish protocols.
  • Provide regular project updates to clients and promptly address any questions or concerns.
  • Collaborate with the design and estimating teams to resolve scope clarifications or change orders.

Financial & Administrative Responsibilities

  • Manage project budgets, change orders, and invoicing in collaboration with the Branch Administrator.
  • Review job cost reports and track financial performance against projections.
  • Ensure proper documentation of materials, labor hours, and subcontractor invoices.
  • Assist with billing reviews and progress payment documentation.
