LANDSCAPE CONSTRUCTION Lead/Driver

Ohashi Landscape Services, a premier boutique landscape firm, specializing in building, supplying & maintaining incredible custom residential projects in the Northwest, since 1982 is looking to fill the position of Landscape Construction Lead/Supervisor.

The Landscape Construction Lead/Driver is responsible for transporting, directing, supervising, documenting, communicating and completing all tasks associated with their assigned landscape construction crew. This includes driving and leading crew(s), paperwork, time tracking, communication, daily progress reports and truck and job needs for their assigned crew.

- Must possess thorough understanding of the proper techniques, procedures and various activities of all landscape construction related activities.

- All duties and responsibilities of a Landscape Construction Associate and Apprentice.

- *Become familiar with plans and specifications for each job and install work according to those plans and specifications.*

*- Train crew members on proper methods of installation and equipment operation; also provide training in safety procedures for several types of equipment.*

*- Assign crew members in daily job tasks.*

*- Coordinate, schedule, and test all subcontractor work to ensure they meet Ohashi standards.*

*- Complete and submit daily paperwork (job logs, invoices, timesheets, etc.).*

*- May oversee multiple crews.*

*- Accurate charting of trucks, equipment, tools; maintenance and repair.*

*- Know functions of all trucks, Bobcats and attachments and large dozer type of equipment*

*- Properly maintain and service assigned vehicle and all equipment on the job. Report needed repairs immediately to Management and place repair tags on equipment and tools listing pertinent information.*

*- Read and comprehend layout landscape design concept.*
