Landscape & Hardscape Apprentice

Bluestone Landscaping is hiring Apprentices and Crew Technicians in Wichita. We're huge on growth, so we hire for attitude first. If you have experience, you can come in as a Technician. If you don't, you start as an Apprentice and we train you. Either way the path is the same: Apprentice to Technician to Crew Lead to Foreman, with a raise at every step.

We're one of only two Unilock Authorized Contractors in Wichita and we build to ICPI standards, which means you'll learn a real trade and work on the best outdoor living projects in the city, not mow-and-blow. What you'll do

• Build patios, walkways, retaining walls, and outdoor living spaces using pavers and natural stone
• Prep job sites: grading, base prep, excavation, hauling, and compaction
• Move and set materials by hand, including pavers, block, gravel, and soil
• Run and maintain basic equipment such as skid steers, plate compactors, saws, and hand tools as you're trained
• Keep the job site clean, organized, and safe throughout the day
• Follow the crew lead's direction and build to Bluestone's quality standards
• Show up ready to work and put in a full day in all kinds of weather

What we're looking for

• A strong work ethic and a willingness to learn. This matters more to us than experience.
• Reliable: you show up on time, every day
• Able to do physical labor, lift 50 pounds or more, and be on your feet outdoors all day
• A team player who takes direction well and cares about doing it right
• Apprentices: no experience required, we train you
• Technicians: hardscape, masonry, concrete, or landscape construction experience preferred
• Valid driver's license is a plus
• Bilingual English and Spanish is a plus but not required
