Irrigation Technician - Summer Seasonal

Position Summary

The Town of Breckenridge Recreation Department's Golf Course Maintenance Division is seeking dedicated and highly responsible individuals for the position of *Irrigation Technician - Summer Seasonal*. Irrigation Technicians are responsible for inspecting, servicing, and repairing the irrigation system at the Breckenridge Golf Club. Irrigation Technicians also mow turf in order to maintain golf course features such as: greens, aprons, fairways, tees, roughs, practice areas, and non-play areas. Various types of equipment are used to accomplish this mowing. Irrigation Technicians are responsible for proper equipment operation; cleaning equipment; and reporting equipment issues.

Individuals in this position also provide leadership to Greens Keepers who are assigned to help with irrigation projects. Irrigation Technicians perform other duties such as: course set-up, aeration, topdressing, and vertical mowing, fertilizing, irrigation installation, drainage installation and repair, trimming bushes, hand watering, picking up debris, repairing ball marks, etc. Irrigation Technician are responsible for working within a team environment and communicating in a positive and professional manner with guests, co-workers, and golf course operations personnel and attending required work shifts, including necessary trainings.
