The Irrigation Technician II is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of irrigation and outdoor lighting systems. This role identifies and resolves system issues, performs preventative maintenance, and supports the efficient and consistent operation of irrigation systems. The Irrigation Technician II also contributes to system layouts, installation planning, and provides guidance and training to team members as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Independently install, maintain, and repair residential and commercial irrigation systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair irrigation components, including valves, wiring, sprinkler heads, controllers, pumps, and water lines.
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on irrigation equipment and systems.
• Assess irrigation performance and make adjustments to improve water efficiency and coverage.
• Assist with irrigation system design, layout planning, and installation preparation.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot outdoor lighting systems.
• Maintain equipment, tools, and vehicles in a clean and serviceable condition.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Assist with training and supporting Irrigation Technician I team members.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of irrigation experience required; 2+ years preferred.
• Working knowledge of irrigation system installation, maintenance, and repair.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve irrigation system issues with limited supervision.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Valid Driver's License issued by a U.S. State or Territory and an acceptable driving record.
