Irrigation Technician (Full-time Seasonal)

OVERVIEW

Glacier's Landscaping Department is seeking an experienced residential Irrigation Technician. We are looking for a self-motivated, hard-working, team player to join our company. Reporting to the Landscape Manager, Irrigation Techs are responsible for the management of multiple irrigation systems, including (but not limited to) installation, routine maintenance and repairs, troubleshooting, system adjustments, and system start-up/winterization procedures (with compressor).

Beyond irrigation work, and as part of the overall Landscaping team, other possible duties may include mowing, fire mitigation, landscape equipment operation, and general landscaping labor.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 2 years of residential irrigation experience (or above)
• Ability to maintain and organize parts and inventories
• Ability to self-start, prioritize, and operate effectively with minimal supervision
• Proven problem solving skills
• Experience with system clock-setting and adjustments
• A driving record free from major violations
• Ability to interact professionally with clients, and experience in customer service
• Knowledge of poly and PVC pipe repair and assembly
• Knowledge of basic sprinkler head, solenoid, and valve repair and replacement
