Irrigation Technician

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Irrigation Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and commercial irrigation systems. The ideal candidate can work independently, communicate professionally with customers, and troubleshoot irrigation issues efficiently.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair sprinkler system problems

Locate and repair leaks

Replace sprinkler heads, valves, pipe, fittings, and wiring

Troubleshoot electrical and controller issues

Program irrigation controllers and smart controllers

Perform system inspections and seasonal maintenance

Test zones and ensure proper coverage

Communicate findings and recommendations to customers

Maintain a clean, organized work vehicle and job site

Complete service tickets accurately

Qualifications

2+ years of irrigation experience preferred

Knowledge of Hunter, Rain Bird, Toro, and similar systems

Ability to troubleshoot valves, wiring, solenoids, and controllers

Experience with PVC repair and pipe installation

Ability to read basic irrigation layouts and wiring diagrams

Valid driver's license with clean driving record

Ability to lift 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Strong customer service and communication skills

Self-motivated and dependable

Preferred Skills

Irrigation certification a plus

Backflow knowledge a plus

Landscape irrigation service experience

Smart controller programming experience

Pay Range

$22.00 – $35.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

Monday through Friday
