Position Summary

The Irrigation Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing residential and commercial irrigation systems. This role ensures efficient water usage, system functionality, and compliance with safety and quality standards while delivering excellent customer service on job sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Install new irrigation and sprinkler systems, including piping, valves, controllers, and drip systems
• Diagnose and repair system issues such as leaks, low pressure, broken heads, and wiring faults
• Perform seasonal start-ups, winterizations, and system inspections
• Program and adjust irrigation controllers and smart watering systems
• Test system performance to ensure proper coverage and efficiency
• Read blueprints, site plans, and irrigation layouts
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and service completed
• Communicate with customers and supervisors regarding system needs and recommendations
• Ensure compliance with company safety policies and local water regulations
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work vehicles in good working condition
• Assist with landscape or construction tasks as needed
