Completes assignments daily.

Proposes improvements to processes.

Works autonomously within established procedures and practices.

Duties and Responsibilities

* Under minimal supervision, maintains the outside of the facilities. * Make sure all lawns, grounds and flower beds are maintained to Whelen standards. * Adapts to new procedures, techniques, tools, material and or equipment to meet the more complex requirements of the position. * Relies on experience and judgment to accomplish assigned tasks and goals with other grounds personnel. * Mows and dresses up the Whelen property. * Repairs all gardens so they look the best they can. * Ability to work under presser and to meet multiple deadlines while maintaining a cooperative working relationship with employees and supervisors. * Run equipment that you are qualified on with care. * Remove snow and maintain a safe working environment. * Work with the JIRA system to ensure everything is documented.

### Requirements

Education and Experience

* High School

Physical demands and abilities

* Able to lift 35 pounds. * Regularly perform repetitive tasks. * Able to stand for entire shift. * Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential function.
