Groundskeeper/Landscaper

Southwood Properties is a property management office located in the downtown Springfield area. We have 7 different properties centrally located all within a 5 mile radius. We are currently hiring for a Groundskeeper/Landscaper position. This position is a year round position and will be required to work outdoors in all weather types.

Responsibilities - Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, and edging to upkeep the appearance of the property. - Conduct grounds keeping duties including picking up trash, weeding, and planting to enhance the overall aesthetics. - Execute maintenance tasks using hand tools and power tools to keep the outdoor areas in optimal condition. - Apply knowledge of lawn care, gardening, and horticulture practices to maintain a healthy and vibrant landscape.

-Snow shoveling at all the properties during the winter months

-Work together as a team and individually to maintain the overall look of the properties.

Must have valid driver's license and be willing to undergo a background check. We would prefer an experienced person but also willing to train the right person. Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
