Groundskeeper (AM Shift)

Summary

:

The Groundskeeper will provide outstanding service by performing daily custodial duties, minor maintenance, and other miscellaneous tasks to ensure the property is maintained in a healthy, safe, and sanitary manner according to Rosen standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the parking lots of the hotel, including removing trash and debris from landscaping if necessary.
• Maintain assigned areas; clean under stairwells and hallways; remove cobwebs on the first floor of buildings.
• Pressure wash areas as needed.
• Collect and dispose of trash from trash receptacles around the pool deck and surrounding areas.
• Stock clean towels in the towel huts and collect dirty towels placed in the bins.
• Perform routine maintenance of pool areas, parking lots, and patios.
• Report any maintenance opportunities regularly while supporting and improving Housekeeping services effectively.
• Report lost & Found to Security immediately.
• Attend pre-shift meetings and maintain a courteous, friendly, and helpful attitude towards guests and fellow associates at all times.
• Comply with the company's drug-free and tobacco/nicotine-free policies.
• All other duties as assigned.

Experience/Qualifications

• Must be able to perform manual tasks and heavy lifting.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. consistently and 75 lbs. infrequently.
• Must be able to legally work in the USA.

Education and Certification(s)/License(s)

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• OSHA, Bloodborne Pathogens, or any other training deemed necessary by Management.
