As a Grounds Maintenance Worker at Bismarck State College, you will play a vital role in maintaining the general care and upkeep of our campus grounds. We are seeking individuals who are dedicated, skilled, and knowledgeable in outdoor maintenance tasks, from snow removal to landscaping. If you have a passion for keeping outdoor spaces beautiful and functional, we encourage you to apply.

• Operate light equipment such as Bobcats, sweepers, brooms, shovels, and snow blowers for snow removal during winter months.
• Assist in building maintenance tasks, including moving furniture, equipment, and supplies.
• Perform grass mowing, tree trimming, fertilizing, weed eating, landscaping, and underground sprinkler repair.
• Plant, fertilize, spray, water, prune, seed, propagate, and cultivate grasses, flowers, bushes, trees, and other plants and shrubbery.
• Execute other duties as required or assigned to maintain the campus grounds in optimal condition.
