Ground Arborist / Tree Service Crew Member

Responsibilities

• Assist with tree removals and pruning operations
• Drag brush, process logs, and maintain a clean, safe job site
• Operate chainsaws and other tree care equipment safely
• Work as part of a crew while following direction from supervisors
• Load and unload trucks and equipment
• Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance
• Represent the company professionally with customers

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Current DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain one
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Physically able to lift heavy materials and perform demanding outdoor work
• Comfortable working in all weather conditions, including heat and cold
• Dependable, punctual, and hardworking
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work well with a team and take direction from supervisors

Preferred Qualifications (Not Required)

• Experience driving a truck and trailer
• Experience operating skid loaders, mini excavators, chippers, or other heavy equipment
• CDL (Class A or B)
• Mechanical aptitude or equipment repair experience
• Previous tree service, landscaping, or construction experience
