Golf Course Groundskeeper - Paris Landing State Park Golf Course

Our Tennessee State Parks are among the most beautiful parks in the United States. We have an outstanding opportunity to work in a beautiful environment at the Paris Landing Golf Course in Buchanan, Tennessee. The Paris Landing State Park Golf Course is situated on the western shore of Kentucky Lake. Several holes skirt Kentucky Lake, producing a natural balance of rolling land, trees, and water. Hole #12 is a 586-yard, par 5 with an elevated green overlooking Kentucky Lake and hole #4 is a downhill 186-yard par 3 with the lake providing a scenic backdrop. Amenities include a driving range, practice green, golf shop, snack bar, and on-site lodging. The Lodge at Paris Landing offers the comforts of a modern hotel and incredible views of Kentucky Lake, all within the State Park.

The Golf Course Groundskeeper's primary duties are to maintain golf course and landscaping around the course, clubhouse, and other course facilities, including parking lots. Should have basic knowledge of golf course operations, the ability to safely operate vehicles and motorized equipment; knowledge of the principles of operation of gasoline and diesel engines and other maintenance tools. Working knowledge of and ability to use hand and power tools and other equipment. Ability to comprehend and learn tasks associated with golf course construction/maintenance. The ability to read, write and execute basic math skills. Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry objects and bend, stretch, twist, or reach with one's body, arms, and/or legs.

Highlighted Responsibilities

• Assists in daily course set-up. Moves tee markers and change cups; maintains ball washers; replaces tee towels and flags and cleans course hardware when needed. Collects and empties litter cans.
