JOB SUMMARY

The purpose of this position is to perform semi-skilled work functions to operate motorized light to medium weight equipment to maintain and repair City grounds, sewers, stormwater conveyance systems, streets, and to provide solid waste collection services. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS* Operates equipment in one of the following areas: golf course, solid waste, water/sewer, parks, stormwater, and streets.

* Adheres to established safety procedures; monitors work environment and use of safety equipment to ensure safety of employees and other individuals; flags and directs traffic and places markers, signs and cones around project/work site to ensure safety of crew and the traveling public; and follows safety practices and wears protective gear.
