Building & Grounds Maintenance

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Building & Grounds Maintenance Day Laborer to ensure the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of our facilities. This role involves performing routine inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance across various building systems and outdoor areas. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical, electrical, and plumbing skills, along with experience in facilities maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance.
• Clean restrooms, pool and locker room areas.
• Oversee facilities maintenance projects such as painting.
• Assist with team members on maintenance tasks and inspections while ensuring compliance with safety protocols and quality standards.
• Grounds maintenance, such as mowing, weed wacking, raking leaves, emptying trash cans.
• Plowing, sandling and salting walk ways and other areas.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required. Ability to safely operate maintenance equipment and to perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 50 pounds. Availability to work Saturdays and other hours as needed.

Compensation
