Arborist / Sales Representative

Position

Arborist/Sales Representative – Full Time Department: Homer Tree Care, Inc. Job Summary: The Sales Representative/Arborist is responsible for developing and maintaining client relationships. This includes but is not limited to visiting client’s properties, assessing clients tree/plant needs, and preparing proposals for current and potential clients. The Sales Representative/Arborist must have a working knowledge of tree care related equipment necessary to complete the assigned tasks Duties & Responsibilities: * Perform all sales within a defined sales territory * Meet and strive to exceed sales expectations * Prepares proposals for potential clients * Aids in development and implementation of PHC programs * Aids in development and implementation of safety programs * Identifies and treats pest infested and diseased trees * Applies pesticides and specialized tree fertilizers * Maintains constant communication with clients to ensure client satisfaction * Inspects and maintains all equipment

Qualifications

* ISA Arborist Certification * 3-5 years of related experience in the tree care industry or prior sales experience * Clean driving record with no moving violations * Knowledge of trees, insects, & diseases * Familiar with proper pruning standards * Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills * Strong organizational skills * Good time management skills * Strong knowledge of industry safety standards. * Degree in Agriculture, Forestry, Horticulture, Environmental Science, or Plant Science preferred but not required.
