SEEKING A GROUNDSKEEPER/PORTER FOR ONE OF OUR PEORIA, IL APARTMENT COMMUNITIES.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

:

• Checks and replaces exterior lighting on a regular basis.
• Open, close and clean pool, if certified for pool maintenance, then maintain pool as directed.
• Constantly observes condition of apartment property throughout the community and immediately reports and/or initiates action to correct unsafe conditions.
• Needs to be aware of all utility meter cut-offs, apartment and fixture cut-offs, sewer clean outs.
• Ensures that storage areas always remain locked when not in use.
• Physically walks the property to removes litter, debris, cigarette butts and pet droppings from the grounds.
• Performs "trash-out" duties at vacated apartments.
• Maintains the dump area.
• Details property on a regular basis
• Assists with "make-ready" duties when requested by the manager or senior maintenance technician.
• Helps clean and maintain storage and shop areas.
• Performs any additional duties assigned by community manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Have the ability and skills to perform required job functions
• Must pass a background check;
• Possess working knowledge of property management maintenance procedures;
• Have skills in: Light carpentry;
• Appliance installation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 per hour
