To support continued growth, Jacobs is seeking an experienced Senior Landscape Architect to help lead impactful programs and projects in Chicago and across the U.S. This role sits within the Advanced Planning Group (APG) , a multidisciplinary team focused on master planning, urban design, and landscape architecture that bridges public and private sector work.

In this role, you’ll act as a design leader and seller‑doer, shaping complex, multidisciplinary projects; strengthening client relationships; mentoring teams; and advancing resilient, nature‑based solutions that address today’s environmental and urban challenges.

What You’ll Do

Serve as Design Lead for complex, multidisciplinary planning, urban design, and landscape architecture projects

Lead the creative design process from concept through construction documentation and construction support

Integrate landscape architecture with architecture, engineering, planning, and infrastructure disciplines

Provide technical and design oversight to ensure quality, design intent, scope, schedule, and budget alignment
