Seasonal Lawn Care Technician - Aeration & Seeding

As a Seasonal Service Leader, you'll be the face of Virginia Green in the field, delivering high-quality lawn and landscape services while providing outstanding customer experience.

Day in the Life

* Applying lawn care treatments, aeration, seeding, and tree & shrub services using professional-grade equipment

* Working independently or with a team to complete services on assigned routes

* Operating equipment safely and efficiently while following all company and regulatory guidelines

* Inspecting customer properties and providing expert recommendations to improve lawn health

* Managing daily routes and service documentation through company-provided mobile technology

* Ensuring every property meets Virginia Green quality standards before leaving the site

* Maintaining equipment, vehicles, and facilities in a clean and professional manner

* Representing Virginia Green with professionalism, safety, and a customer-first attitude

Qualifications/ Requirements

* Must be 18 years of age or older

* Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent preferred

* Valid driver’s license with a clean record with 1+ years of driving experience preferred but not required

* Ability to operate a truck and trailer safely

* Must obtain a Registered Technician certification within 30 days of hire (training and fees paid by Virginia Green)

* Previous customer service, landscaping, lawn care, or outdoor work experience is helpful but not required

This is an active, hands-on position requiring

* Standing, walking, bending, kneeling, lifting, and carrying throughout the day
