As a Groundskeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the overall appearance and functionality of outdoor areas within a multi-family residential property. • Perform routine landscaping and grounds maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, edging, and pruning to ensure lawns, gardens, and green spaces are well-maintained.
• Plant, water, fertilize, and weed flower beds, shrubs, and trees to promote healthy growth and enhance the aesthetic appeal of the property.
• Remove debris, litter, and fallen leaves from sidewalks, parking lots, and common areas to maintain cleanliness and prevent hazards.
• Operate and maintain landscaping equipment and tools such as lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and pruners in safe and working condition.
• Inspect irrigation systems, sprinklers, and drainage systems regularly to identify and address issues such as leaks, clogs, or malfunctions.
• Assist with snow removal and ice management during winter months using snow blowers, shovels, and de-icing agents to ensure safe pedestrian and vehicular access.
• Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks on outdoor structures, fences, benches, and signage as needed to uphold safety and functionality standards.
• Monitor and report any signs of pest infestation, disease, or plant damage to appropriate personnel for timely remediation.
• Collaborate with property management and maintenance teams to coordinate landscaping projects, schedule maintenance activities, and prioritize tasks.
