Production Manager - Grounds Maintenance

Job Summary

Bland Landscaping Company is seeking a results-driven, hands-on Commercial Landscape Maintenance Production Manager to lead our field supervisors and maintenance crews.

In this critical leadership role, your primary focus will be managing safety, quality control, and labor hours as they pertain to our contracted commercial maintenance accounts. You will act as the driving force behind our field efficiency, bridging the gap between operations and administration, while fostering a strong culture of teamwork, proper horticulture, and safety.

Key Responsibilities Production & Field Leadership

Crew Management: Supervise, train, and mentor maintenance field supervisors and crew members on all aspects of commercial landscape maintenance services.

Quality Assurance: Conduct comprehensive site inspections on every assigned property at least once every two weeks to guarantee our high quality standards are met.

Horticultural Standards: Promote proper horticultural practices across all teams through continuous on-the-job training.

Water Management: Monitor and maintain on-site irrigation controllers, coordinating repairs as needed.

Safety & Compliance: Ensure all field operations are conducted safely. Lead and participate in regular crew safety meetings and enforce the proper use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Operations, Fleet & Logistics

Resource Allocation: Provide accurate labor hour and material budgets to field crews to guide daily production.

Scheduling & Tracking: Utilize the BOSS LM software system to manage daily scheduling, track job issues, and verify the integrity of timesheets and work orders.

Equipment Oversight: Monitor equipment inventory, coordinate preventative maintenance schedules with the Operations Manager, and ensure all tools are properly serviced.
