JOB TYPE

Full Time LOCATION: Arcadia, CA COMPENSATION: $32 - $40 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience. This is a non-exempt position eligible for overtime. A company vehicle may be provided based on business needs POSITION SUMMARY: The Non-Certified Arborist is responsible for inspecting trees, identifying and documenting hazardous conditions, and providing recommendations related to vegetation management and utility line clearance. Individuals in this role are expected to obtain ISA Certified Arborist (or equivalent) certification within one year of employment. What you will be responsible for: (Disclaimer: The lists below are not all inclusive)* Ensure SAFETY protocols are followed at all times * Perform tree inspections in system of record * Follow SCE scope of work * Communicate and abide by all SCE/Paxon protocols * Identify, document, and immediately report hazardous trees to the appropriate parties * Overall tree health review/assessment * Basic measurements pertaining to vegetation and powerline distance relationships * Provide recommendations on tree management * Collaborate with operational leaders * Operate as a liaison between tree crew, client, and customer * Produces accurate, timely, and high-quality work * Manage and coordinate daily vegetation operations * Capture clear, accurate, and detailed photogra...
