Landscape Maintenance Crew Leader

This is NOT an entry-level position.

The Eckliff Group is looking for an experienced Commercial Landscape Maintenance Crew Leader who has already led crews successfully. If you've never been responsible for running a COMMERCIAL mowing route, directing employees, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring jobs are completed on schedule, this position is not the right fit.

We are building a team of professionals who take pride in producing high-quality work, leading by example, and holding their crews accountable.

What You'll Do

• Lead a commercial landscape maintenance crew daily.
• Operate stand-on and zero-turn mowers, string trimmers, backpack blowers, hedge trimmers, and other commercial equipment.
• Safely pull and back equipment trailers.
• Ensure every property meets company quality standards.
• Train and direct crew members throughout the day.
• Complete digital timekeeping, service reports, and site documentation.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and maintain assigned truck and trailer.
• Communicate professionally with supervisors, crew members, and customers.
• Maintain productivity while working safely.

Minimum Qualifications (Required)

Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

• Minimum 1 years of experience leading a commercial landscape maintenance crew.
• Minimum 2-3 years of commercial landscape maintenance experience.
• Experience operating commercial stand-on or zero-turn mowers.
• Experience using commercial string trimmers, backpack blowers, hedge trimmers, and stick edgers.
• Experience pulling and backing equipment trailers.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Reliable transportation to our Eastlake shop.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
