Performs various landscape maintenance for the facility grounds. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE

1. Valid Driver’s License

To be completed as established by department: (Administered at Department level)

1. Must pass hospital administered physical that measures ability to drive a commercial class vehicle in the state of WV

1. High School diploma or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE

1. One (1) year experience in groundskeeping.

2. One (1) year experience in maintenance/construction.

CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Performs general groundskeeping work throughout the Hospital and assigned facilities.

2. Assures all tools are clean and kept properly stored for future use and keep good inventory on all materials.

3. Follows hospital, state and federal guidelines for ensuring safe environment for workers, patients and public. Maintains compliance with hospital and departmental policies and Government Codes and procedures for safety, security, and infection control.
