Landscape Logistics & Yard Manager

Position Summary

We are seeking a high-energy Logistics & Yard Manager to control the physical and digital flow of materials for our $4M landscaping operation. This is a unique, hybrid role for someone who loves both technical administration and active, hands-on outdoor management. You will act as the vital link between our office project managers and our field crews.

What You’ll Do

* Procurement & Admin: Source and order (through our company software, Aspire) plant materials, hardscape supplies, and bulk materials. Manage purchase orders, material receipts, and vendor invoices directly in Aspire. Submit, track, and manage all Miss Utility tickets.

* Morning Dispatch & Crew Support: Oversee the morning load-out of field crews. Coordinate directly with both field staff and office leadership to ensure crews have pre-tagged materials and equipment, eliminating morning bottlenecks.

* Physical Yard & Inventory Management: Receive, unload, and inspect incoming nursery and hardscape deliveries. Safely operate yard equipment to organize materials and tag items for specific upcoming jobs.

Requirements

* Proven experience in inventory control, logistics, or operations management.(Green industry/landscaping experience is a plus, but not required).

* Technical proficiency; comfort learning and operating cloud-based software (Aspire).

* Experience operating heavy equipment (Skid-steers/loaders) with a commitment to safety.

* Clean driving record and active DOT Card, or willingness to obtain one upon hire (Required).

* Excellent cross-functional communication skills; a willingness to practice and use conversational Spanish with field crews is highly valued.

Past experience and the ability to speak some Spanish a plus. Work outdoors in temperatures below 32 degrees and above 90 degrees. Ability to lift and carry 25 to 50 lbs. frequently, and up to 80 lbs occasionally.

Work hours are 6:15 AM - 5:15 PM Mon - Fri.
