True Lawn Care Inc. is a family-owned and operated company located in Lakeside, CA. We are a full-service landscape construction company that specializes in commercial, industrial, and residential projects. We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team as a Landscape Laborer.

Job Description

The Landscape Laborer is responsible for the installation of landscape elements on commercial and residential properties. This position requires the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, as well as the ability to safely perform the tasks required to complete each project. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, but also as part of a team with other employees. The individual must have good attention to detail, be organized, and be able to work with minimal supervision as needed.

Qualifications

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required

• Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more
• Ability to withstand exposure to weather conditions and outdoor work conditions
• Ability to work at heights up to 50 feet high while working on ladders or platforms above ground level
• Must be able to pass a drug test upon hire and random drug testing during employment
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
• Must have the ability to read and understand English
• Must possess or obtain valid state certification for general landscaping construction (minimum level 1) preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform landscape maintenance tasks, including mowing, trimming, and planting.
• Utilize hand tools and machinery, such as excavators, for various landscaping projects.
• Ensure proper irrigation and care for trees and gardens.
• Follow safety protocols while operating equipment and handling materials.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
• Maintain a valid driver's license for transportation to job sites.
