Duties

• Troubleshoot and repair irrigation systems, identifying issues with valves, controllers, pipes, and sprinklers using hand tools and power tools.
• Conduct routine inspections of irrigation components to prevent malfunctions and optimize water efficiency.
• Use mechanical skills to replace or upgrade irrigation parts, ensuring systems meet landscape needs.
• Maintain detailed records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities to ensure system longevity and compliance with standards.

Experience

• Prior experience working with irrigation systems, lawn care, or landscape maintenance is highly preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge related to plumbing, low-voltage electrical components of irrigation controllers, or small engine repair.
• Hands-on familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and landscape construction equipment.
• Knowledge of horticulture principles to support healthy plant growth and landscape aesthetics.
