Our in-house, multi-disciplinary team carries projects from concept to ribbon cutting, and our landscape architecture practice plays a key role in shaping parks, streetscapes, campuses, and public spaces throughout the region. POSITION OVERVIEW Thrasher is seeking a Landscape Architect to join our Planning & Landscape Architecture team. This position will work closely with architects, civil engineers, and surveyors on a diverse range of projects, including parks and recreation facilities, trails, streetscapes, tourism infrastructure related site development, master plans, and community revitalization efforts. The ideal candidate is a creative, detail-oriented designer who enjoys collaborating across disciplines and seeing projects through from early concepts to construction. Our team is currently engaged in a multitude of community improvement projects across our footprint that are transforming public and private spaces in Appalachia. We are passionate about improving the places around us and are looking for a team member that wants to be involved in transformative projects for our region. RESPONSIBILITIES * Develop site plans, landscape plans, planting designs, grading concepts, and hardscape details for public and private projects. * Prepare conceptual designs, renderings, and graphics for master plans, community engagement, and funding applications. * Produce construction documents, details, and specifications in coordination with multi-disciplinary project teams. * Participate in client meetings, public presentations, and community input sessions. * Conduct site visits and assist with construction administration to ensure design intent is achieved. * Support project pursuits and proposals...
