Pond & Water Feature Construction & Maintenance Technician

We are seeking hardworking, dependable team members to help build, maintain, and repair ponds, waterfalls, streams, fountains, and other water features throughout Orange County, the Inland Empire, and parts of Los Angeles and San Diego Counties. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in craftsmanship, and values delivering exceptional customer service.

Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesWater Feature Construction

Participate in all phases of pond and water feature installation, including

• Excavation and site preparation
• Installation of plumbing, skimmers, filters, and BioFalls® systems
• Placement of underlayment and liner
• Rock placement and waterfall construction
• Installation of underwater lighting
• Cleaning rocks and filling water features
• Final detailing, including liner concealment, grading, landscaping, and mulching
• Thorough jobsite cleanup upon completion

Maintenance, Repairs & Service

Assist with the maintenance and repair of ponds and water features, including

• Pond clean-outs and seasonal maintenance
• Netting debris, scrubbing surfaces, and backwashing filtration systems
• Diagnosing and repairing water feature components
• Performing upgrades and improvements as needed
• Handling tasks involving fish waste, organic debris, and other unpleasant conditions

Equipment & Operations

• Load and unload trucks, trailers, tools, and materials
• Maintain accurate inventory of tools and equipment
• Keep vehicles, trailers, and jobsites clean, organized, and professional
• Report maintenance issues with vehicles, trailers, and machinery
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and best practices
• Assist other departments during peak seasonal periods
• Perform special projects and additional duties as assigned
