Position Summary

The Irrigation Technician is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems to ensure efficient water usage and healthy landscapes. This hands-on role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality service. The ideal candidate will have experience troubleshooting irrigation issues, programming controllers, and ensuring systems are optimized for both performance and water conservation.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair irrigation systems, including valves, controllers, pumps, and lines.
• Adjust and program irrigation timers to match plant and weather conditions for water efficiency.
• Detect and repair leaks, broken sprinkler heads, and electrical faults.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and water usage.
• Recommend system upgrades or adjustments to improve performance and sustainability.
• Collaborate with landscape crews and property managers to coordinate repairs and site schedules.
• Ensure compliance with local water restrictions and environmental regulations.
• Operate company vehicles and maintain equipment in safe working condition.
