Irrigation Technician

Summary

Lawn King is the region’s premier landscaping company, and we're looking for motivated Irrigation Technicians to join our team for the summer season. As a locally owned business, we pride ourselves on providing top-tier service, and we’re seeking individuals who are eager to work outdoors and help maintain and install irrigation systems. This role involves working as part of a team to install new irrigation systems, troubleshoot issues, and ensure systems are running efficiently. We’re looking for candidates who are dependable, enjoy hands-on work, and are willing to learn. If you have excellent summer availability and a passion for irrigation systems, we’re willing to train the right candidate to develop the skills necessary for success. Our schedule typically runs Monday through Friday, giving you weekends free for personal time. If you’ve got passion for precision and want to be a key player in maintaining lush, hydrated lawns, we want you on our team!

Summer Work Week

• Summer Work: May 1st – October 31st (approximately)
• Roughly 7am-6pm M-Th – Fridays/Weekends vary on workload and weather
• Peak months are May, June, September, October (May work a few weekends during startup/blowout season)

Job Details

• Operating equipment and trucks with trailers
• Installing/Repairing Irrigation systems
• Working with a crew in support of irrigation/landscape operations
• Fueling and light maintenance of equipment.
• Working as a team to get irrigation projects done in accordance with plan specs.
• We are willing to train the right individuals with an eye for detail!

Winter Work Week

• Winter Work: November 1st – April 31st (approximately)
• Roughly 8am-5pm M-F / On call schedule
• Operating equipment such as payloaders/sand trucks -OR-
• Working on a sidewalk crew with heated, riding snow blowers and shovels
