As an Irrigation Service Technician, your primary duties will be to perform irrigation service work, troubleshoot systems and identify the need for repairs. You will also make recommendations for improving system efficiency and professionally communicating with customers.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Accurately analyze and diagnose problems related to irrigation systems
• Prioritize, schedule, and perform irrigation service work including service checks, start-ups, winterizations, and repairs.
• Efficiently communicate with customers in about their irrigation systems
• Ensure service truck is clean and organized, properly stocked with inventory and tools
• Ensure routing efficiency
• Retain a basic knowledge of horticulture and maintain a relationship with account managers to understand the water requirements of different turf and ornamental species.
• Develop and maintain status as a Subject Matter Expert in the irrigation field
• Identify new sales opportunities
• Keep certifications current and seek out continuing education opportunities.
• Respond to afterhours and weekend emergencies.
