Job Title: Groundskeeper

Supervisor: Maintenance Supervisor/Community Manager FLSA Status: Non-exempt (Hourly) JOB SUMMARY: Maintains grounds of community in order to enhance and maintain its curb appeal. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following but are not limited to: * Clean common, amenity and ground areas on a daily basis. Water and upkeep community landscaping as instructed. Spread salt on public passageways to prevent ice buildup. Rake, sweep, shovel as circumstances warrant. * Responsible for daily upkeep of the community buildings and grounds that includes cleaning and removing of trash. * Responsible for the care, maintenance and inventory of all supplies and equipment owned by the community and/or the company. * Assist with “make-ready” and/or miscellaneous duties when requested by the Maintenance Supervisor or Community Manager. Other miscellaneous duties as required. * Responsible for maintaining the required community uniform and ensuring a professional appearance and behavior at all times. * Operate within OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Act) standards and company safety policies at all times. * Responsible for reporting unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the community or residents; initiates action to correct unsafe conditions. * Responsible for courteous, efficient response at all times. * Responsible for thorough knowledge of company policies. * Responsible for seeking educational opportunities and self-improvement for personal growth and development.
