We are currently seeking a Groundskeeper to join our team at Preserve at Highland Ridge (https://www.preserveathighlandridge.com/), a 261 unit apartment community in Nashville, TN.

Position Summary

The Groundskeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and appearance of the property. Duties include daily trash removal from all exterior areas, cleaning around dumpsters, landscaping tasks (raking, mulching, weeding, watering), and snow/ice removal per policy. Maintain common areas by emptying trash, cleaning fixtures, carpets, and laundry rooms, and replenishing supplies. Use a digital device to manage work orders, inspections, and documentation. Ensure a safe work environment, report hazards, and comply with Fair Housing laws. Maintain professional conduct, attend meetings, assist staff as needed, and perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Functions

* Grounds and Exterior Maintenance - Walks the property daily to remove trash from Grounds: (front and rear of buildings), breezeways, parking lots, playground, drain basin edges, behind fence lines, clean around all dumpsters, rake/mulch around trees and landscaped areas, weed around trees and flowerbeds, water grounds as needed.
