Groundskeeper / Maintenance Helper

Job Description

AGB Real Estate manages residential communities across Nashville, including market-rate, affordable, and supportive housing. We're hiring a hard-working Groundskeeper / Maintenance Helper to keep our Nashville properties clean, safe, and presentable — with a primary focus on Wallace Studios, our supportive housing community.

This is an outdoor, hands-on, get-dirty job. If you take pride in leaving a place better than you found it and don't mind hard, sometimes unpleasant work, we want to hear from you. We pay competitively and reward people who show up and get it done.

What you'll do

• Keep grounds clean across all our properties on a set schedule — pick up litter and debris, empty and manage trash areas, and maintain a tidy exterior
• Haul junk and bulk trash to disposal, including large and heavy items
• Help our maintenance team turn over vacant units, including clean-outs that can be dirty and unpleasant
• Handle basic light maintenance — change light bulbs, tighten and swap simple hardware, and other small screwdriver-level fixes
• Spend most of your time on grounds work, with Wallace Studios as your main focus

What we're looking for

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently on a route between properties
• Physically able to do the work: lifting 50+ lbs, bending, standing, and working outdoors in all weather
• Comfortable working in and around supportive housing, and able to handle dirty, unpleasant, or difficult situations professionally and with a level head
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record (you'll drive between properties daily)
• Basic hand-tool skills (screwdriver, light bulb changes, minor repairs)
• Preferred: your own truck or trailer for hauling

What we offer

• $19–$21/hour based on experience
