The Groundskeeper / Assistant Maintenance Technician will maintain the overall cleanliness and functionality of the community facilities. This job plays a key role in executing our company’s purpose statement: We build community by bringing people together in the neighborhoods where they live.

What you’ll accomplish

* Daily upkeep of the community grounds and facilities. * General cleaning and removing trash on a dedicated route. * Sweeping or hosing off community areas daily and as needed after rental. * Ensuring areas around the dumpsters are clear. * Operating within OSHA standards and company safety policies. * Maintaining inventory of supplies / equipment needed to perform duties. * Executing additional tasks as required.

What we’re looking for

* High school diploma or equivalent. * Must be 18 years old. * At least 2 years of grounds keeping / maintenance experience. * Skills in carpentry, HVAC, electric, plumbing and other building trades. * Experience in landscaping, irrigation and grounds maintenance. * Must be organized, efficient and have the ability to recognize the level of quality acceptable to keep facilities looking their best. * Ability to communicate with residents, managers and peers in an effective way. * Flexibility to work after-hours and weekends. * Problem solving skills. * Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving history. * Must pass...
