Position Summary Information Primary Purpose Responsible for physical appearance of University grounds by mowing, raking, planting, fertilizing, trimming or watering. Use mowers, rakes or other hand and power tools typically used in gardening.

Essential Functions

* Mows, trims, edges and sweeps university lawns and grounds. * Waters fields and grounds as directed. * Performs tree and shrub maintenance to include planting, trimming and fertilizing. * Ensures proper care of equipment, tools and supplies. * Collects trash and removes in appropriate containers. * Performs minor repair of equipment. * Assists with set-up and tear-down of outdoor stages, tarps, tables and chairs. * Identifies maintenance or repair need and reports to appropriate personnel. * Assists in special construction projects as required. * Performs other duties as assigned.
