GroundsKeeper - Facilities Management - Full Time - Day Shift

Job Summary

Under the supervision of the Engineering Supervisor, the groundskeeper assumes responsibility and accountability for performing all out door clean-up and service functions at both hospital and hospital owned properties. Work performed in accordance with hospital policies and procedures. Flexible working hours and winter on-call are required.

Core Job Responsibilities

* Ability to keep lawns and landscape in good condition by routine cutting of grass * Nurture all flowers and shrubs with associated projects * Complete annual mulching and weeding * Complete assigned rounds when required * Perform snow removal when required * Perform salting / sanding as required with special attention given to building entrances. * Provide service for moving equipment and / or materials throughout network * Monitor fuel storage of gas & diesel used by network vehicles * Keep equipment and vehicles clean and presentable * Perform semi-skilled Carpentry & Painting work * Perform parking lot striping and curb painting when required * Perform other duties as required.
