Duties

• Perform routine cleaning of common areas, restrooms, lobbies, hallways, and entryways using commercial cleaning equipment and supplies
• Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain a spotless appearance
• Restock supplies including paper products, hand sanitizers, and cleaning materials to ensure continuous availability
• Assist with light custodial tasks like window washing, trash removal, and surface disinfecting to uphold hygiene standards
• Support facilities maintenance by reporting repairs needed for lighting, fixtures, or other building systems
• Maintain cleanliness of outdoor areas including walkways and entrances to promote curb appeal and safety
• Collaborate with janitorial and custodial teams to ensure consistent quality in cleaning standards

Experience

• Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings preferred
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment such as buffers and floor scrubbers required
• Experience with floor care procedures including buffing and polishing highly desirable
• Background in facilities maintenance or general upkeep roles is a plus
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
