As the Groundskeeper for Hamilton County, your role entails overseeing a comprehensive grounds maintenance program to maintain outdoor areas. This involves operating various equipment, conducting preventative maintenance, and performing repairs. You'll also assist with building maintenance, contribute to budget preparation, and handle inventory management. Summary of Job Duties: * Implements grounds maintenance program; maintains grounds (e.g., cuts and trims grass, landscapes grounds, removes snow and ice, etc.); operates light to heavy equipment to maintain grounds (e.g., tractors, grass cutting mower, chain saws, edgers, trimmers, snow plow, dump truck, etc.); performs skilled and semi-skilled preventative maintenance repairs on mechanical equipment and machinery; lifts heavy loads in performance of duties.
