NOW HIRING: GROUNDS MAINTENANCE WORKER

Location: White Sands Missile Range (WSMR)

Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Starting Wage: $17.75 per hour

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

As a Grounds Maintenance Worker, you'll play an important role in maintaining a clean, professional, and well-manicured environment.

Your responsibilities will include

Mowing improved grounds and maintaining attractive landscapes

✂️ Edging sidewalks, curbs, driveways, and other hard surfaces

Trimming areas inaccessible to mowers

Removing litter, debris, and natural waste

Maintaining desert landscapes in a clean and orderly condition

Providing weed control and general grounds upkeep

Operating mowing and grounds maintenance equipment

* Assisting with special projects as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

✔ High School Diploma or GED

✔ Minimum 3 years of experience in:

• Grounds maintenance
• Irrigation systems
• Tractor and mowing equipment operation

✔ Valid Driver's License REQUIRED SCREENINGS:

• General Background Check
• Driving Record (MVR) Review
• Office of Inspector General (OIG) Exclusions Check
• Security Clearance Review through Federal Investigative Services
