Grounds Maintenance

Qualifications

· Ability to read, write and speak English

· Physically able to operate equipment and lift and move 75 lbs or more

· Physically able to lift, carry, push, pull, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, twist and bend

· Valid Driver’s license and at least 18 years of age

· Experience with grounds supplies equipment including but not limited to mowers, backhoe, chipper, snow removal equipment, field lining equipment, trees, fertilizers, grub control, spraying, etc

· Positive and peaceful attitude

· Team player with the ability to work alone and with others

Job Duties

o Including but not limited to:

§ Planting and removal of flowers, trees and shrubs

§ Pond, basin and rain garden maintenance

§ Snow removal and salting

§ Fields preparation and clean up

§ Playground, courtyards and Woods maintenance

§ Vehicle and equipment upkeep and maintenance

§ Preparing for events

§ Hand weeding, weed whacking, grass planting, etc

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
